Kali has observed global health issues around the world and recognizes the need for efficient and comprehensive solutions--starting with awareness. With a M.S. in global health/social marketing and B.S in public health/behavior change, Kali brings the science lens to marketing and design for STCK’s purpose driven clients.

What inspires Kali most, is carrying the public health torch of her late father who dedicated his life to bringing clean water to millions. When she is not scrolling through spreadsheets, you can find her studying herbs, enjoying nature, or relaxing with family and friends.

Much of her inspiration is informed by the buildings, the people, the smells, and pretty much all the surroundings in which she grew up. As an experienced furniture and graphic designer, she’s been able to tap into the rich culture of her heritage, delivering impactful identity and compelling websites that are both modern and distinctive. She works with all kinds of business models to build and strengthen brand presence and communication so businesses can reach their full and awesome potential. While she enjoys every project, Estefania particularly loves working with those that are different and challenging. Her main goal is to apply thoughtful design to your project, brand, and limitless ideas that bring meaning to life. Kali is a visionary and highly committed professional. As Executive Director of STCK, she brings an extensive background in providing high-level leadership and services within the nonprofit and small business sector.

Her training in integrative medicine and program development led to work for international research organization, Bioversity International, where she designed and implemented community-based development projects in Kenya and India. Her work was largely focused on harnessing first person perspective of rural farmers via Photovoice and facilitating critical discussions surrounding women’s health and awareness for neglected and underutilized fruit species.

Taylor Barnes


Cofounder & Creative Director

An east coast native, Taylor spent the majority of her career traveling the globe and working within many industries. With a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing and a minor in Fine Arts, she worked in the portrait photography industry in the Northeast before moving to Portland.

As STCK’s Creative Director, Taylor brings creative vision and interpersonal skills to the curation of messages across all platforms. She utilizes interactive design, multimedia, & visual content to incite community conversation that accurately represents diverse and individual voices.

Set designs from the early ‘80s and late ‘90s, as well as any integration of animation with live-action, inspire Taylor in the application of mixed media to digital design (The Fifth Element, Cool World, Escape from New York, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters… have all set the aesthetic precedent here). Having transitioned between places, industries, and passions she creates content to reflect the dynamic social and environmental contrast across that spectrum.

Claire Choate, MS

As Director of East Coast Development for STCK, Claire strives to develop a network of visionaries committed to supporting the holistic health & wellness of our global community.

Claire received her B.A. in Psychology from Florida State University, with a concentration in life cycle development, and M.S. in Global Health from the National University of Natural Medicine. Claire has worked throughout the United States to implement effective public health programming; her extensive training in systematic monitoring & evaluation and trauma-responsive care enable Claire to approach all projects with a nuanced understanding of human behavior and social change.

Out of office, Claire can be found eating her way through NYC, or exploring its many parks with her two dogs, Indiana and Lucy.

Sara Roberti

Sara was brought up in a creatively vibrant home. She fell in love with the medium of film at a young age after being introduced by her father, who was a high school art and photography teacher. After graduating college with a BFA in Photography, she moved to New York City where she was immersed in the commercial photography industry for nearly a decade, working specifically in fashion editorial and advertising. In 2018 she relocated to Portland, embarking on a journey that spoke to her higher purpose and aligned more closely with her values as a person and professional.

As Executive Producer at STCK Design, she carries out projects from start to finish with meticulous attention to detail and transparent communication. Her previous roles such as Post Production Producer, E-commerce Photographer and Photographer & Stylist Agent all lend themselves to STCK’s goal of problem solving creatively and delivering each project to the highest of standards for their clients.

As a trained Western Herbalist, in Sara’s free time she’s usually out foraging and exploring the endless wonder of Oregon’s nature with her fiancé and their pup, Kingston.

Aldo is a Graphic Designer based in Portland, Oregon with over 12 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including municipality, retail, fine arts, and ad agency design. His studies in Graphic Design were completed at California State University, Long Beach and at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart, which is one of the top design schools in Germany.

Aldo is highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, and speaks English, Spanish, and German and enjoys how these languages inspire my work and allow me to meet and relate to new people.

ASCXNSION (pronounced "ascension") is an Indigenous hip hop artist and creative producer born and raised in Portland, Oregon. For ASCXNSION, music is a method of self-expression, healing, and social awareness. "Glowing in her multifaceted femininity and ancestral power, she relays stories every young person can relate to with bars and soul" (CBC Reclaimed). ASCXNSION is also a youth-focused curriculum builder and facilitator, having worked with various youth-centered organizations such as Girls Rock Philly, Rock to the Future, and Momentum Alliance. Photography, graphic design, and writing are also passions of hers and overall community engagement and social justice lenses are imperative to her work.

She is the 2019 Portland Poetry Grand Slam Champion, and has performed at various events such as the WeMake Disrupt Conference, Invisible Spectrums and Intersect Fest. Her poem Joy will be featured in Black Arts Tables Anthology set to release in spring 2020. Bella’s poetry centers around her experiences being a woman of color, her eating disorder, abusive relationships, and the hope between it all. Side Effects of Remembering the Little Things is her debut book with Lightship Press. Through her work she hopes to create connection, conversation, and understanding so we all feel a little less alone.

Sadie Red Wing is a Lakota graphic designer and advocate from the Spirit Lake Nation of North Dakota. Her research on cultural revitalization and visual sovereignty has sparked new and long-overdue interest in indigenous perspectives for visual design and communication. Red Wing’s work has been featured in AIGA’s Eye on Design (“Why Can’t the U.S. Decolonize Its Design Education?”) and Communication Arts (“Decolonizing Native American Design”). She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University.

With over 20 years' experience in journalism for some of the world's biggest news organizations, Rosemary’s skills represent a combination of natural curiosity honed through the practice of photography, investigative news reporting, interviews, features and travel to over 100 countries, as well as start-to-finish editing, layout and online presentation of media from gritty photo-stories to glossy luxury travel magazines. Rosemary now enjoys using her skills to make a difference for organizations whose missions match her values, which include a shared humanity, loyalty, support, connection, determination, creativity, appreciation and gratitude. Jake is a passionate coffee drinker with the shakey hands to prove it.
His other traits include being far too nice to people, a personality often described as “Golden Retriever”-esque, and having a sweet monitor-tan from too much time in front of a computer-- pushing keyframes and taking names. Since graduating from the University of Oregon with a BA in Cinema Studies, Jake has further honed his skills as an animator, editor, sound designer, and buddy to all.

Whether it’s grinding out a Large-Budget Commercial for a client or pushing keyframes around to get the perfect motion on a delicate animation piece, Jake has the skills and experience to dive head-first into any part of the post-production process. Whether it’s color-grading, sound design, 3d animation or a precise edit, he has the know-how to create the compelling content you need to drive your digital storytelling.

As an expert in fundraising and intercultural communication, Caliopy works with organizations to develop and optimize their fundraising programs to inspire generosity, cultivate empathy, deepen learning, and connect people across cultures in mutually beneficial ways.

Caliopy has worked with such organization in more than sixty countries on five continents. After leading the fundraising department of an international NGO, she founded her consultancy to help organizations grow and formalize their initiatives into scalable programs, as well as to push back against exploitative elements often inherent in the charitable sector. Today she is a recognized expert on the topics of ethical storytelling and ethical client engagement.

Part strategist, part facilitator, and part project manager, Caliopy supports teams in developing programs that connect supporters directly to the causes they champion. Having once been in the exact situation as many of her clients, she understands that a successful strategy needs to be grounded in attainable revenue goals, smooth implementation, and deep intercultural acumen. Today, she draws from her unique skills in all three areas to provide comprehensive solutions to nonprofits, philanthropic groups, social benefit corporations, and foundations.

Ruby is an artist from Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in detailed, fine line blackwork tattoos. She is influenced by scientific illustrations, printmaking. conceptual surrealism, and nature. Ruby graduated from The Baltimore School for the Arts in 2014 and moved to Portland, Oregon where she attended Forbidden School of Body Art and Tattoo. She currently works out of Saint and Sinners Tattoo in Southeast Portland.

Sarah is a Nutritionist, educator, and CPA based in Portland, OR. Prior to moving to Portland to pursue her Masters in Nutrition and Global Health, she spent seven fulfilling years working in the fields of finance and accounting in both for profit and not-for profit organizations. In pivoting her career four years ago to focus on nutrition and global health, she now focuses her time on educating students on the aspects of personal nutrition and providing hospitality and nourishment for her colleagues in the non-profit sector. Sarah has a deep commitment to public service, creating equitable systems that support vulnerable populations in low resource settings, and ensuring communities have access to proper nutrition and nourishment.

After leaving the traditional work environment to teach English as a foreign language in third world countries, she continues to pursue her passion for graphic & web design as a freelancer. She is influenced by different cultures and communities around her and strongly believes in the power of information and the positive impact an online presence can have for organizations and communities in need. After several years living abroad in Asia, Brontee has returned to her favorite city in Mexico-Querétaro, where she currently lives. Brontée speaks Spanish fluently as well as basic Vietnamese. She enjoys front-end web development and functional languages like JavaScript.
