Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy

The Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy is a nonprofit advancing Tribal sovereignty and environmental justice by supporting Tribes in the development of clean-energy projects on their own terms.

STCK Design partnered with the Alliance during a pivotal period of growth—helping the organization evolve its identity, clarify its voice, and build the communications infrastructure needed to match its expanding impact. Our work included developing a complete brand system from the ground up: a new logo, visual identity, texture family, custom patterns, and a comprehensive style guide.

The brand was shaped through deep engagement with Tribal leaders, including elder interviews, community conversations, and focus groups designed to ensure cultural alignment and authenticity.

To bring the brand to life, STCK sourced and managed a multidisciplinary team of Indigenous designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters to develop custom illustrations, visual storytelling assets, and culturally grounded multimedia. This work supported a full communications strategy spanning website design, social media, digital marketing, newsletters, video production, and motion graphics.

The strengthened brand and narrative helped the Alliance significantly expand visibility, increase monthly web-based donations, attract major institutional funders, and launch the Tribal Energy Equity Summit—its first national convening of Tribal and federal leaders.
